American Friends of the Palestinian House of Friendship: Voices from the West Bank

Event Date

Get an up-to-the-minute report from Palestinian House of Friendship’s directors, Mohammed and Majed Sawalha

The American press has begun covering the current disasters on the West Bank in recent weeks, and you’ve undoubtedly been reading about increased settler and Israeli violence in villages throughout the region.

The American Friends of PHF would like to invite you to hear more personal stories, observations, and experiences from PHF’s co-directors, Mohammed Sawalha and his son Majed, reporting from Nablus in the heart of the West Bank. No fuel for home heating and cars, electricity black-outs, water rationing, difficulty obtaining food staples, schools open only three days a week, high unemployment, Israeli soldiers in the streets of the city day and night, desecration of Moslem graves and intrusions into mosques, gunfire in the night. And yet PHF continues to provide hope and care for its community with Boxes of Love and educational support for children living in traumatic conditions.

Please join Mohammed and Majed in a Zoom conversation on Sunday September 13th at 4:00 p.m. (EDT), to hear more about the West Bank and actions we can take to help them.

We will send you a zoom link during the week before the event.

If you are able, please make a donation to PHF. Every dollar helps.

Look forward to seeing you on the 13th!
